Courtney Francois

Growing up in an underprivileged rural community in Guayaguayare, South Trinidad, Courtney Francois was deeply influenced by his father, a multifaceted figure: a leading social activist, village council president, regional political party chairman, and high-ranking trade union official.

This upbringing fueled his lifelong commitment to fighting injustice. Francois and his siblings actively participated in Trinidad and Tobago’s electoral process, deeply ingrained in the political landscape.

As a minister of religion, he resided in various regions of Trinidad, organizing community action groups to improve living conditions.

Over twenty-three years, Francois collaborated with NGOs and governmental agencies, notably through the “Market Day” program, providing essential support to thousands of underprivileged families.

His dynamic blend of experiences, ethics, knowledge, and religious conviction drives him to engage in impassioned debates and tirelessly champion seemingly hopeless causes, driven by a fervent belief in contributing to a better world and the kingdom of God.
